Films and TV
Nowadays of course, it's reasonably easy to get hold of old film and television material through the internet and media suppliers, so now we have access to most of those old films that we may have missed during the times we were reliant on television companies broadcasting them.
This, of course, is very good news for fans like me, as I can now have access to films or TV programmes that I'd previously only heard of. Valerie has said that she has more fanmail now than she ever did in the 70's when the films were shown, down in no small part to the advent of the internet and film archiving.
I recently came across a film from 1968 - Zeta One (in which Valerie had a small speaking part as Atropos) and was surprised that I could actually get hold of the film! Having watched the film in it's entirety, I was surprised (again!) that it had become somewhat of a cult film, possibly not for the right reasons, however.
Blood From The Mummy's Tomb, however is a different story, having long been available on DVD as part of a Hammer Horror Film Collection. This was a film that I'd watched at the cinema (in the 80's) and further built on my regard and liking for the lead actress - Valerie.
Below is a full listing of Valerie's films, television and theatre performances. Most of the film exist on DVD, however most of the TV programmes are now lost.
