Well - very annoyingly, the last design wouldn't work with IE7, IE8 compatibility mode and the IE6 png fix didn't work! So I've abandoned that in favour of this one - quickly thrown together last night! Looks like I'll be working on this for a coupla days than.

Latest News

A new project - the Steampunk Keyboard - is underway! Progress, blogs and photos in the Steampunk Keyboard Project Section.

At a bit of a halt now! Mainly due to winter (too cold in the workshop!) but also due to the lack of materials! The next bit to do is the sides, so I am currently looking (albeit not terribly hard!) for 1/4" brass plate.
 

Added a blogging module to the site so that The Author can rant and rave at leisure. (And he has!)

Added a bit more blurb to the front page and tidied up more of this new web template (almost satisfied now, no - honest!). Added the video clip I wanted to to the Video Clips page - the world's fastest Dalek.

Some reconfiguration of the website - looks-wise. Also a modicum of behind-the-scenes work to tidy things up a bit and to make things work a little better and to suit the new website style. Also correcting typos that have been here for a while! I can spell (allegedly), however don't notice them sometimes!

A long time since the last update! However, here it is, with the addition of the Steampunk section, which is to kick off the Steampunk Keyboard project undertaken by the Author.

Added a Weather Module to the site. Currently returns weather for the UK and the USA, however will be adding more countries soon.

Well - I've added a few blog posts to the Author's Blog over the last few days. Read them at your peril!  Also added a Site Map which is a page containing all the links on the site in one place. Easier for navigation (I'm told!).

Found a blogging module that I think will do the trick for me.  Users are allowed to leave comments, but they're moderated...just the ticket.  Already placed a missif for the gentle reader to peruse.  So, enabled the blog and also added some links to the Links Page.

Having a mess around with blogging modules - so I can write blogs (and have a rant, probably!) and have reader's comment.
