Doctor Who People

These are people that have direct dealings with Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures or any sort of official Doctor Who spin-off\product etc. It includes actors, writers, sound people, directors and anyone else!! They're not in any particular order.

  • Steven Moffatt - Current Doctor Who boss man. Bow down all ye before him, for he is our Lord and Master. (Note: not THE Master)
  • Jason Arnopp - Doctor Who audio writer, director, producer and thrash metal enthusiast.
  • James Moran - writer of several Doctor Who stories and writer of Severance.
  • Simon Guerrier - Writer of Doactor Who books and contributor to DWM.
  • Dan Tostevin - DWM writer, interviewer.
  • Benjamin Cook - DWM (Doctor Who Magazine) writer, interviewer. Has red hair.
  • Barnaby Edwards - Writer, director, bookist and my favourite Dalek.
  • Nicholas Pegg - Actor, writer, director, amateur gardener and professional Dalek. In no particular order.
  • Ed Stradling - Producer/Director in factual TV. Working on Dr Who DVDs at the moment.
  • Ben Aaronovitch - Classic Doctor Who writer.
  • Mark Gatiss - Writer, actor, director, producer. Does good horror and writes bloody brilliant stuff.
  • Mark Ayres - Composer. Sound Designer. Producer. Restoration, Remastering, 5.1, Doctor Who and The Radiophonic Workshop.
  • BBC Torchwood - This is the official production office twiiter account of Torchwood!
  • Doctor Who BBC Books - Twitter feed for the official Doctor Who Books from the BBC.
  • DWM Tweets - The official Doctor Who Magazine twitter feed.
  • Tom Spilsbury - Current editor of Doctor Who Magazine.
  • Gareth Roberts - Writer, Doctor Who fan. Writes for Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures (probably Torchwood too!).
  • 2|Entertain - Another 2|Entertain account. Not sure if it's used now.
  • Colin Teague - Director of Doctor Who and Torchwood.
  • Classic DW - The official account for 2|Entertain - the Doctor Who DVD providers.
  • Dan Watts - Musician, composer and arranger. Brother of Sam. Writes music for the Sarah Jane Adventures etc. Also arranged music for the film "I Want Candy".
  • Sam Watts - Musician, composer and arranger. Brother of Dan. Writes music for the Sarah Jane Adventures etc. Also arranged music for the film "I Want Candy".
  • Paul Cornell - Writer of Doctor Who books and comics.
  • Alexander Armstrong - Actor and comedian. The voice of Mr Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures.
  • Tracy Ann Oberman - Alex Kingston look-alike (not really). Does good hair, breakfast and was Yvonne Hartman in Doctor Who. Also did something called Eastenders (whatever that is).
  • Murray Gold - Does the Doctor Who music. Very well, too.
  • Richard Dinnick - Writer of novels, scripts, comics and non-fiction for SF and Thriller type stuff inc. Doctor Who and Stargate for the likes of BBC Books, Big Finish & DWA.
  • Tony Lee - Doctor Who comic book writer, amongst other things.
  • Clayton Hickman - Former editor of DWM, now writer and a DVD designer.
  • Phil Ford - Doctor Who writer. Author of Dreamland.
  • Chris Chibnall - Doctor Who and Torchwood writer.
  • Jane Espenson - US writer of several things (Buffy, Caprica etc) currently working on Torchwood S5.
  • Dichen Lachman - ex Dollhouse star soon to appear in Torchwood S5.
  • Kai Owen - plays Rhys in Torchwood.
  • Dave Owen - Writer, conttributed to DWM.
  • Dave Morrissey - Actor. He was The Next Doctor.
  • Katherine Jenkins - Very good Welsh Singer, actor. She was Abigail Pettigrew and she sang to a rubber shark.
