This is WoodysNet - the personal website of Alan Woodward.
This website is very much a work in progress and is being updated as and when the Author discovers (or writes) new material. The updates section (bottom left) will give the visitor a brief outline of what was last added to the site and when. For a full list of site updates, then visit the Site Update archive page, where all changes can be read in full.
Navigation is via the menu on the left with submenus where appropriate. |

Included in the website is a weather module. This is normally set to my home City - Gloucester, England - however if you go to the Weather Page, you can set your own Country and City and it'll display the current weather conditions and a four-day forecast for you. Currently only the United States and Western Europe are selectable - if you want any others, please let me know and I'll try to add them.
That's the idea, anyway! |
There is an Author's Blog too - a chance for the author to let off steam, or generally comment about things that he comes across in everyday life. Amusing, funny, sad, witty and angry...all in one place! You may read - and you may comment (however you cannot post new items). |
There are some audio and video clips on the website. At the moment, these are fairly restricted to being just Doctor Who, however this may well change! There's a brief potted history of the Doctor Who theme tune - a fascinating and nowhere near complete subject on the Audio Page.
Please note that the clips are © their respective owners (mainly BBC) - no infringement is intended. |
Literally what it says it is - a couple of pages about me (the webmaster and author), my websites and why I did those websites to start with! There is my Twitter account address, Facebook Page address and a potted biography of me to date. Enjoy! |

The BBC Radiophonic Workshop |

This website was to be originally designed as a source of information for The BBC Radiophonic Workshop, it's members and it's work. Although all of this information is around on the Internet (somewhere!) this site is meant to bring it all together into a coherent and readable fashion.
Hopefully, the reader will gain an enjoyable insight into this band of musical and electronic geniuses that worked for this BBC Department from 1958 to 1995 (and on).
I hope you enjoy the information presented on this site and if any of it is copyright without the owner's consent, then I apologise - please contact me and I'll remove it. Most information is © BBC no infringement is intended.
The section is not finished just yet - there are more articles to come - hopefully in the near future! |
